The Essential Companion Scheme is designed to support disabled customers by giving them the opportunity to have a free ticket for a companion who can provide assistance with mobility, guidance, and ensure their safety and enjoyment during the visit.  This scheme is exclusively for those who require in-venue assistance and not for those who wish to have a companion or need transportation assistance to the theatre.   A Spotlight account is required and those applying must be 16+. Documents we accept for evidence:  

• Disability Living Allowance (DLA) or Attendance Allowance 
• Personal Independence Payment (PIP) 
• Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit 
• War Disablement Pension 
• Armed Forces Compensation Scheme (with guaranteed Income Payment only) 
• Severe Disablement Allowance 
• Access Card (with 1+ symbol)
• Herts Vision Loss Card/Registered blind 

Application Process 

Applications are processed within 10 working days - No purchases can be made prior to acceptance into the scheme.

All information provided is protected under the Data Protection Act, and solely used for the application process. 

Ticket Availability 

Tickets are subject to availability - The Spotlight reserves with right to review/adjust tickets within the scheme and to revoke a member's eligiblity as necessary. 

Renewal of Membership 

Applicants may be required to renew their membership periodically in accordance with the expiry date of documents provided.
